Frequently asked questions

01

How long does your process take from start to finish?

As of January 2025, my turn around time is approximately five to seven months from the event date, due to the drying process and my current service demand.

02

How far out do you accept inquiries and bookings?

Currently, I am accepting inquiries for 2024 and 2025.

03

How do your packages work?

Every package is custom built around a specific frame that you choose, which is like the “base” for your package. The price shown includes the total cost of preservation (drying, pressing, etc.), regardless of how many add-ons you choose. Once you have chosen your base package, you can select any add-ons you would like to include in addition to your framed piece. The prices for add-ons are included on the package page.

If you would like to know what decision is best for your needs and wants, submit an inquiry and we can chat about it! Additionally, if you are not positive about which package you want at the time of booking, there will be time to alter your order while your florals are drying and pressing, but a deposit will still be required to reserve your date.

04

I saw an item on Instagram that you previously made, but I don’t see it as an option on your Packages page. Can I add a piece like it to my package?

Possibly. For items I don’t normally offer, there may not be available materials to create them again. Ask about it with your inquiry and we can chat about it! There will be an additional charge for custom items like these.

05

I live in the Twin Cities area! Do you allow local drop-off and pick-up?

Yes! All of my packages include local drop-off and pick-up.

06

Is shipping included in the package prices?

All of my package prices include local drop-off and pick-up. Any packages that require shipping/delivery will have an additional charge.

07

How do I ship my flowers to you?

I can share these instructions with you when you book!

08

Do I have to overnight ship?

No, you do not need to overnight ship, but I do recommend it to preserve the quality of your flowers as best as possible. Two-day shipping should also be safe for most arrangements.

09

Will my flowers change colors during the preservation process?

They may! This is a part of each flower’s natural life cycle, but flowers pressed when they are fresher are less likely to change colors. If you want to know more, check out my blog post about this!

10

Can you press old flowers?

It depends on multiple factors, mainly if the flowers were hang-dried upside down and how old they are. I can often press florals that are up to a month old, if they have been hang-dried.

11

What will happen with my extra flowers?

All excess florals that are not used in your pieces will be disposed of unless specifically requested to be returned to you.

12

Where can I display and how can I care for my pressed flower piece?

Display your pieces in your favorite places! But do avoid putting them in direct sunlight, high humidity spots like your bathroom, and keep them away from baseball bats.

13

Do you make resin floral blocks?

No, I find that the heirloom quality is not as high or long-lasting with those kinds of pieces.

14

Do you do memorial pieces?

Yes, I am honored that you would trust me with this! Please submit an inquiry and we can talk more about the memorial pieces I offer.

15

Do you create any non-wedding pieces?

Yes, currently I list any personal projects and pieces that are available for purchase on my Etsy.

We can hardly wait to bring your dream to life!
